National Centre of Excellence for Management of Severe Acute Malnutrition, Kalawati Saran Children’s Hospital, New Delhi

National Centre of Excellence (NCoE) for Management of Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM) also known as National Nutritional Rehabilitation Resource and Training centre (NNRRTC) established in 2012 at Lady Hardinge Medical College, Associated Kalawati Saran Children’s Hospital (KSCH), New Delhi with the approval of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India and supported by UNICEF, Delhi, India. NCoE has dedicated facilities for the treatment and nutritional rehabilitation of children with severe acute malnutrition (SAM). NCoE provides technical assistance to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) and 13 States of India, in terms of capacity building and resource development, knowledge management, development of protocols, guidelines, monitoring and supportive supervision, documentation and evidence generation on both facility and community based management of SAM. Since 2017, NCoE is also supported by National Health Mission (NHM), New Delhi, India.
