Rajasthan: Regional Centre of Excellence for Integrated Management of Acute Malnutrition and Infant & Young Child Nutrition, Ravindra Nath Tagore (RNT) Medical College, Udaipur

Regional Centre of Excellence (RCoE) for Integrated Management of Acute Malnutrition (IMAM) and Infant & Young Child Nutrition (IYCN) established in February, 2018 at Ravindra Nath Tagore (RNT) Medical College, Udaipur in collaboration with the Department of Medical, Health and Family Welfare, Government of Rajasthan and supported by UNICEF, Rajasthan. The RCoE supports the State in planning, implementation, capacity building, monitoring and scaling of child health and nutrition programmes. The Malnutrition Treatment Centre (MTC) at the RCoE also functions as a training centre for building capacity of the MTC staff in the state. In addition, RCoE also supports the various State Government programmes for prevention of malnutrition, which will ultimately contribute in reducing the Infant Mortality Rate and Maternal Mortality Ratio in 6 Districts of Udaipur Division.
